An alternative to onsite degaussing, our technicians utilise a giant mechanical press to snap the drive in half splitting the platter(Hard Drive) or circuit board in the case of an SSD, instantly rendering it inoperable.  

This is often used as part of a two stage process to help ensure your data is not compromised when travelling on to the final shred or incineration.
